The Knights of Columbus organization is an international Catholic men's fraternal benefit society that was formed to render financial aid to sick, disabled and needy members and their families as well as to assist with local, national and international projects involving educational, charitable, religious and social welfare causes. The Solomon chapter is primarily involved in assisting the local parish through volunteer assistance for church projects, financial help for high school graduates, pro-life activities, and assistance to clergy, social interaction and annual events open to the public. Meetings are held the first Sunday of each month at 7 p.m. in the parish hall.
The Knights also cook once a month for the parish and serve right after our Sunday Mass - during the school year the fix breakfast on the first Sunday of the month and during the summer months they cook hamburgers and hotdogs ~ all parishioners & guests are invited to come and enjoy this!
